For Abril Domínguez, curiosity isn’t just a personality trait—it’s a professional superpower. With a passion for discovery and a love for working with data, Abril has quickly become a standout contributor on Passport’s Analytics team. Since joining in early 2024, she’s combined analytical thinking with cross-functional collaboration to help unlock insights that drive meaningful outcomes for brands.
Abril’s path into data wasn’t always linear. Originally studying International Business, she found herself increasingly drawn to data analysis throughout her early work experience. “There was something about exploring and searching for insights that seemed really fun,” she says. That interest led her to pursue a certification in Data and eventually transition into the tech space—where she’s found her stride at Passport.
One of her proudest moments? Contributing to internal project “Triple Crown,” a collaborative initiative that required deep analysis and quick problem-solving. “Even though it was challenging, seeing how our work makes an impact for brands has been really rewarding,” Abril explains. “I’m proud to have worked alongside such talented and hardworking teammates.”
Passport’s approach to growth and support has been a game-changer in her development. From a welcoming and low-stress interview process to getting promoted within her first 18 months, Abril credits the company’s empowering environment for helping her thrive. “There’s a big emphasis on growth here,” she says. “You’re encouraged to take ownership, try new technologies, and use the development fund to keep learning.”
That culture of trust and collaboration is what stands out most to her. “Everyone understands we might not always have all the answers, but we work together to reach our goals,” Abril shares. “There’s a strong sense of support—and people always give their 100%.”
Born in Mexico City and raised in Cuernavaca, Abril brings a global perspective to her work. She’s lived in Shanghai and Manchester during university, and has traveled to 24 countries across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Whether she’s diving into new cultures or debugging a complex dataset, she’s always learning something new.
Outside of work, Abril loves gaming with friends, catching F1 races (no matter how early they air), and heading to the movies—popcorn in hand. Her playful, passionate spirit carries over into her work, where she approaches every challenge with curiosity and care.
