This Passport Global Privacy Notice (“Notice”) is provided by Passport Global, Inc., including our affiliates and subsidiaries (“we,” “us,” or “our”), and describes how we process Personal Data collected through our website at passportglobal.com, including its subdomains (the “Site”), through services requested by merchants or customers receiving packages, or through our offline events (all together with the Site, the “Services”).
This Notice does not apply to Personal Data we collect or otherwise process about job applicants or employees. Personal Data We Collect
“Personal Data” refers to data that identifies or could reasonably be used to identify you. “Personal Data” includes “Personal Information,” “Sensitive Personal Information,” and “Sensitive Data” as defined in applicable privacy law. Personal Data does not include information that is publicly available, deidentified, or aggregated.
Generally, the Personal Data that we and our vendors may collect include the following categories listed below. The type of Personal Data that we collect may depend on the nature of your interactions with us and may not include all the examples listed below.
- Identifiers, including your name, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, IP address, email address, account name, or other similar identifiers.
- Personal Records, including signature and telephone number.
- Commercial Information, including services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
- Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information, including IP address, device ID, browser type, browsing history, clickstream data, search history, access logs and other usage data related to your use of our Site.
- Geolocation Data, including information inferred from your IP address.
- Professional or Employment-Related Information, including employer and title.
- Inferences drawn from any of the Personal Data identified above to create a profile reflecting preferences, characteristics, behavior, or attitudes.
How We Collect Personal Data
We collect Personal Data from various sources, such as directly from you when you access or use our Services; automatically as you interact with the Site; or from our vendors, partners, or other parties.
Directly From You
We collect certain information you provide directly to us through our Services, such as:
- Registering or maintaining an account with us.
- Filling in forms, including at account registration, when shipping materials, or when requesting further services.
- Entering a contest or promotion sponsored by us.
- Contacting us.
- Reporting a problem with our Services.
- Subscribing to receive our notifications.
- Responding to surveys.
Automatically Through Our Site

How We Use Personal Data
How we process your Personal Data varies depending on how you interact with us. Generally, we process Personal Data in the ways set forth below or as otherwise directed or authorized by you:
- To deliver our Services to you, including maintaining and supporting our Services, responding to your requests, authenticating users, performing technical tasks such as software updates, and handling other customer service and support needs.
- To analyze and enhance our Services, including understanding your usage, researching and evaluating operations, developing new features, ensuring quality and training, and improving your experience.
- To contact you regarding our Services, including notices, alerts, surveys, and responses to your requests.
- To personalize content and user experiences, including delivering or displaying tailored content related to our Services; providing location-based customization and personalized assistance or guidance; enhancing overall user interactions; delivering more relevant advertisements; and assessing and optimizing the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.
- To market and promote our products and services, including sending newsletters and offers, contacting you with relevant information, managing promotions and contests, and advertising other services.
- To support our general business operations, including accounting, record keeping, legal functions, analyzing results and risks, collecting payments, and maintaining records.
- To manage business transactions, including planning and implementing an actual or contemplated merger, acquisition, financing, sale, bankruptcy, or restructuring of our business or assets.
- To secure our rights, including fulfilling contractual obligations (such as shipping, billing, and collections), protecting business operations and IT assets, preventing fraud and unauthorized actions, addressing violations of our agreements, or other threats to safety or security.
- In any other way we may describe when you provide the information.
- For any other purpose with your consent.
We may also process aggregate and/or deidentified information that does not identify you. Where we process deidentified data, we will maintain and use the information in deidentified form and not to attempt to reidentify the information, except as permitted by applicable privacy laws.
How We Disclose Your Personal Data
We may disclose your Personal Data for purposes consistent with this Notice, our written communications at the point of collection, or applicable laws. Generally, we disclose Personal Data as described below:
- Within our group of companies, including with our affiliates and subsidiaries.
- With our agents, vendors and other service providers in connection with their work on our behalf, including services such as shipping, payment processing, authentication, website hosting, email communications, and technical support.
- With third parties for marketing purposes, including improving our Services and providing you with other products and services that may interest you.
- With our advertising partners for the purposes of ad targeting, remarketing, and customized advertising content.
- With our insurers and professional advisers for the purposes of managing risks, exercising or defending against legal claims, and otherwise obtaining professional advice.
- In connection with, or during negotiations of, any proposed or actual merger, purchase, sale, or any other type of acquisition or business combination of all or any portion of our assets, or transfer of all or a portion of our business to another business.
- As necessary to: (1) comply with applicable law or other legal processes, (2) respond to lawful requests by public and government authorities, (3) enforce our terms and conditions, (4) protect our operations and the rights, privacy, safety, and/or property of us, you, and others, and (5) seek remedies or mitigate potential damages.
- For any other purpose disclosed to you and with your consent.
Cookies and Other Similar Tracking Technologies
Types of Cookies We Use. We, and our vendors, may use cookies, web beacons, pixels, APIs, and other similar technologies (collectively, “Cookies”) to collect information when you interact with our Site.
We categorize Cookies according to their general purpose and to illustrate the different functions they serve, as described in our Cookie preference manager available through the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of the Site. Note that Cookie usage may vary, and other websites may use and categorize Cookies differently.
What Data We Collect Through Cookies and How We Use It. The information we or our vendors obtain about you may vary depending on the type of Cookie. For example, certain Cookies may collect usage information (such as the browser you are using, IP address and device identifier, length and time of visit, and pages visited), general geolocation data (to deliver content based on your location), and details about how you interact with our Site (including clicks, cursor movement, scrolls, and keystroke activity).
This information is used by us and our vendors for a variety of purposes, including to store your preferences and settings, enable you to sign in, analyze how our Site performs, track your interactions with our Site, develop inferences about you, deliver and tailor cross-context and/or interest-based advertising, combat fraud, and to fulfill other business purposes.
Duration of Cookies. Cookies vary in how long they are kept on your device. We use both Session Cookies and Persistent Cookies on our Site.
- “Session Cookies” are temporary Cookies that last for only a single browsing session. The information they collect is stored in temporary memory and erased shortly after you leave our Site or close your browser.
- “Persistent Cookies” are stored on your device until you take steps to remove the Cookies or until a particular Cookie’s expiration date (often several months after the Cookie is placed on your device). Persistent Cookies can record information from each visit you make to our Site as long as they remain on your device.
Our Cookie Vendors. Our Cookie vendors can be viewed in our Cookie preference manager available through the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of the Site.

- Google (Ads, Analytics, reCAPTCHA): We may use third-party tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand and analyze how visitors interact with and experience our Site, including the features you engage with, how you navigate, page views, how much time is spent on a page, clicks/touches, mouse movements, scrolls and keystroke activities. We have implemented Google Analytics Advertising Features, such as remarketing with analytics, interest-based advertising, and impression reporting. - YouTube: YouTube API Services may collect, store, use, process and disclose personal information, including from your devices, as described in this Notice and to serve content. We are not responsible for the effectiveness of, or compliance with, external parties’ opt out options or programs or the accuracy of their statements regarding their programs.
Consent. A pop-up banner will appear when you first visit our Site. This banner provides options to accept all Cookies, reject non-essential Cookies, or adjust your Cookie preferences. By accepting all Cookies, you consent to our use of Cookies, and all Cookies on our Site will be enabled unless you have independently disabled them through your browser settings. You may withdraw your consent or change your Cookie preferences at any time by selecting the cookie icon in the lower left-hand corner of the Site and updating your preferences.
Depending on your browser, you may also be able to decline or delete Cookies through the browser settings. Interactive Features
We may provide interactive features on our Site. Your use of these interactive features is voluntary, and we may retain the Personal Data that you submit through these features. For example, we may offer an interactive chat feature to answer questions and for customer service purposes. When you participate in the interactive chat, either with a virtual or live agent, the contents of the chat may be captured and kept as a transcript. Note also that our interactive features may incorporate generative artificial intelligence services, and may use online tools, like Cookies, to collect certain information about you and your use of our chatbot. By using these features, you understand that our vendors may process the Personal Data obtained through the interactive feature to provide the service on our behalf.
Promotions
You may provide Personal Data to us or our vendors to participate in contests, sweepstakes, and other promotions. The use of your Personal Data for these promotions is subject to separate terms that are provided to you when you participate in the promotion.
Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect Personal Data from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. Please note, however, that no electronic transmission of information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Data. The safety and security of your information also depends on you. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
Retention
We will retain the categories of Personal Data described in the “Personal Data We Collect” section for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Notice or otherwise authorized by law. Generally, this means we will hold Personal Data for as long as one of the following apply:
- Your Personal Data is reasonably necessary to manage our operations, to manage your relationship with us, or to satisfy another purpose for which we collected the Personal Data;
- Your Personal Data is reasonably necessary to carry out a disclosed purpose that is reasonably compatible with the context in which the Personal Data was collected;
- Your Personal Data is reasonably required to protect or defend our rights or property (which will generally relate to applicable laws that limit actions in a particular case); or
- Your Personal Data may be maintained indefinitely according to legal or regulatory requirements, including applicable legal holds, or for data backup or recovery purposes.

Your Choices
Account Information
You may access, update, or remove certain information that you have submitted to us by sending an email to us at privacy@passportglobal.com. We may require additional information from you to allow us to confirm your identity.
Email Communications
If you have visited or used our Service, we may send you communications. You can opt out of receiving promotional emails from us at any time by following the instructions as provided in our emails to click on the unsubscribe link. You may continue to receive informational communications related to our Services, such as updates about transactions conducted through our Services.
Additional Disclosures for California Residents
This section supplements the Passport Global Privacy Notice above and is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended from time to time (“CCPA”). Capitalized terms not otherwise defined in this section or the Passport Global Privacy Notice above have the same meaning as the matching terms defined in the CCPA.
In the event of a conflict between any other of our policies, statements, or notices and this section, this section will prevail as to California Consumers’ rights under the CCPA.
Unless otherwise noted, the disclosures contained within this section describe our current practices and our practices for the twelve (12) months preceding the “Last Modified” date.
Personal Data We Collect, Use, and Disclose
We and our vendors may collect the Personal Data described in the “Personal Data We Collect” section above, both online and offline. We collect, use, and disclose these categories of Personal Data as described in the “How We Collect Personal Data,” “How We Use Personal Data,” and “How We Disclose Personal Data” sections above.
Some of the Personal Data we collect is considered Sensitive Data under the CCPA, including social security number, driver’s license, state identification card, or passport number; a consumer’s account log-in, financial account, debit card, or credit card number in combination with any required security or access code, password, or credentials allowing access to an account.
Sales and Sharing
This section describes the categories of Personal Data Sold or Shared with Third Parties for Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising in the preceding twelve (12) months.
We may Sell and/or Share the following categories of Personal Data: Identifiers, Personal Records, Internet or Other Electronic Network Usage Data, Geolocation Data, and Inferences. We may Sell and/or Share these categories of Personal Data to or with advertising and digital analytics companies for marketing and advertising purposes. We do not have actual knowledge that we Sell or Share the Personal Data of Consumers under 16 years old.
California Privacy Rights
California Consumers may contact us using the information in the “Contact Us” section to exercise any of the rights outlined below. In some cases, we may need to verify your identity (or that of your authorized agent). To do this, we may request additional information from you.
California Consumers have the following rights related to their Personal Data:
- Right to Know. You have the right to request that we provide you with the following information:
- The specific pieces of Personal Data we have collected and maintain about you.
- The categories of Personal Data we have collected.
- The categories of sources from which we collect Personal Data.

- Right to Correct. You have the right to request that we correct Personal Data we maintain about you that you believe is inaccurate.
- Right to Delete. You have the right to request that we delete Personal Data we collected from you or about you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Opt Out of Sales and Sharing. You have the right to opt out of Selling and Sharing of your Personal Data. You may opt out of Sales or Sharing via Cookies through an opt out preference signal (such as the Global Privacy Control) or by clicking the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer and updating your preferences. Note that if you come back to our Site from a different device or use a different browser on the same device, you will need to opt out for that browser and device as well. We do not use or disclose Sensitive Data for purposes to which the right to limit use and disclosure applies under the CCPA. We also do not engage in automated decisionmaking in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
We will not discriminate against any user who exercises these rights.

Personal Data We Collect, Use, and Disclose
We and our vendors may collect the Personal Data described in the “Personal Data We Collect” section above, both online and offline. We collect, use, and disclose these categories of Personal Data as described in the “How We Collect Personal Data,” “How We Use Personal Data,” and “How We Disclose Personal Data” sections above.
Legal Bases for Processing
Our processing of Personal Data is carried out pursuant to the following legal bases:
- The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, for example to provide you with the services and products you request.
- We have a legal obligation to process your Personal Data, such as to comply with applicable tax and other government regulations or to comply with a court order or binding law enforcement request.
- To protect your vital interests, or those of others.
- We have a legitimate interest in processing your Personal Data. For example, we have a legitimate interest in the following cases:
- To analyze and improve the safety and security of our Site. This includes implementing and enhancing security measures and protections and protecting against fraud, spam, and abuse.
- To maintain and improve our Site.
- To operate our Site and provide you with certain tailored communications to develop and promote our business.

Data Subject Privacy Rights

To prevent unauthorized requests related to your Personal Data, we take steps to verify that you are the person that is the subject of the request. Following verification of your identity, we will process your request; if we are unable to fulfill your request, we will let you know why.

Subject to certain exceptions, you may exercise the following rights:
- Right to Know, Access, and Transfer. You may have the right to confirm that we process your Personal Data, know details concerning that processing, and access your Personal Data. You also may have the right to obtain your Personal Data in a transportable format.
- Right to Correct. You may request that we correct Personal Data that we maintain about you if you believe such Personal Data is inaccurate.
- Right to Delete. You may request that we delete your Personal Data. Please note that we may retain certain Personal Data as permitted or required by applicable law.
- Right to Restrict Processing. You have the right to request that we suspend the processing of your Personal Data in certain scenarios.
- Right to Object. You have the right to object to our reliance on our legitimate interests as the basis for processing your Personal Data.
- Right to Opt Out of Profiling. We do not engage in profiling that results in legal decisions or has a similarly significant impact. Accordingly, we do not offer the right to opt out of profiling.
International Data Transfers
Your Personal Data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, or in other jurisdictions which may have data protection laws and regulations that are different from the laws in the country in which you are located. We implement appropriate legal mechanisms and other safeguards to protect transferred Personal Data, and to ensure that an essentially equivalent degree of protection is applied to such Personal Data outside its country of origin. Where applicable, we will use standard contractual clauses to safeguard your Personal Data, including the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Union and United Kingdom.
Changes to this Notice
We may update this Notice from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Notice and updating the “Last Modified” date on the top of this page. If we make material changes to this Notice, we will provide notice or obtain consent regarding such changes, as may be required by law.
